On Wednesday, October 14, the Historic Elitch Theatre welcomes Denver Public Library’s Silent Pages Society: After Dark, and the oldest theater in Denver has more than a century of stories in its walls. Gather on the lawn as night falls, or slip inside beneath the glow of the screen. The silent classic Nosferatu will flicker in the background while composer Nathan Hall performs a live score, eerie, beautiful, and just a little otherworldly. Old theater seats. Moving shadows. Live music. A book open in your lap.
