Gamelan Ensemble

A traditional Indonesian gamelan ensemble performs a midday concert in Ensemble Hall, filling the Imig Music Building with shimmering metallophones and resonant gongs. The program showcases both classic court pieces and contemporary compositions, offering Boulder’s cultural district a rare acoustic journey into Southeast Asian music. The free performance invites listeners to sit back and absorb the hypnotic textures of this centuries‑old art form.
